How to enrol
Admission takes one visit if you bring the right papers, and two if you do not. Bring a parent or an elder if you can — the counselling session covers wages, shifts, commute cost and deductions, and it goes better when the person who will hear about all of it later is in the room.
The five steps

Walk in or call
Any centre, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. No appointment needed, though a call ahead means a counsellor is free when you arrive. Bring your documents on the first visit if you already have them.

Counselling — the honest half hour
We ask what you have studied, what you have done, where you live and how you would travel. Then we tell you the real starting wage for that trade, the shift pattern, the deduction maths from gross to in-hand, and the monthly cost of getting to the sites that hire from that batch. If the numbers do not work for you, we say so and suggest a different course or a different quarter.

A short trade check
Twenty minutes. For electrical and HVAC: basic numeracy, a simple tool identification, and colour vision. For retail: number entry speed and a spoken interaction. For warehouse: reading location codes accurately and a lifting check. It is not an exam and nobody is failed on it — it tells us whether you need extra support in the first fortnight.

Documents and first instalment
We photocopy and verify your papers, open your file, and take the first instalment against a printed receipt. Never pay anyone at Team SK without a receipt, and never pay cash to a person outside the centre who says they will "arrange" your admission.

Batch confirmation
You receive your batch start date, timing, centre address, trainer's name and a WhatsApp group link for that batch. Report fifteen minutes early on day one; the safety induction starts on time and is not repeated.
Documents to bring
- Aadhaar card — original and one photocopy
- 10th standard mark sheet (and 12th or ITI certificate if you have one)
- Bank passbook, first page, where the name matches your Aadhaar spelling
- PAN card if you have one; we will help you apply if you do not
- Four passport-size photographs
- Driving licence, for HVAC and for anyone aiming at MHE roles later
- Any previous experience letter, even an informal one
The name-spelling problem, explained once
- If your Aadhaar says one spelling and your passbook says another, your first salary will bounce or sit unpaid. This is the single most common reason a joining goes wrong.
- If your only account is a Jan Dhan account opened at school and never used, it is probably dormant. It needs re-KYC, which takes a branch visit and about ten days.
- We fix both during the course, not after the joining letter. Bring the passbook on day one so the coordinator can check it early.

Sponsored seats
In most quarters, some batches are partly funded — either by the employer who has committed the headcount, or under a state or central skilling scheme. Where that applies, the trainee share can drop to as little as the assessment fee. We will tell you at counselling exactly which of the current batches carry sponsorship and which do not. Nobody has to ask twice, and nobody pays extra to be considered.
Refunds
If you withdraw within the first six working days of a batch, the first instalment is refunded less Rs. 500 towards consumables already issued to you. After that, fees are not refundable, because the seat was held against employer headcount and cannot be resold mid-batch. This is written on your receipt too.

Batches also close early when the committed seats fill. The August electrical batch usually fills in the second week of July. The October electrical batch runs in the afternoon specifically for people already doing morning work — it is the same 400 hours, not a lighter version.
Rules we do not bend
85% attendance
Below 85% of contact hours and you do not sit the assessment, regardless of how good your bench work is. Biometric attendance is taken at every session. Genuine emergencies are handled by the centre coordinator in writing, not by an argument on assessment day.
PPE every session
Safety shoes, goggles and gloves where the module requires them. Come without them and you are sent home for the day, and that day counts against your attendance. This is not a formality — brazing burns and eye injuries are how people leave this trade permanently.
One free repeat
Fail the assessment and you may repeat it once with the next batch of the same course, at no extra fee, provided you attend the revision sessions we set for you. A second failure means we help you find a different trade rather than sell you the same course again.
Questions we get at the admission desk
I am working. Can I do this alongside a job?
The October electrical batch runs 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm for exactly this reason. Retail and warehouse batches are morning-only and hard to combine with full-time work. HVAC is morning-only because the field days have to happen when service calls happen. Ask the counsellor — we would rather you wait a quarter for a batch that fits than drop out in week five.
Is there a hostel?
No. We do not run accommodation, and we do not recommend anybody move to Ahmedabad for a two-to-four-month course. Every batch is planned around people who already live in and around the city, mostly in Bapunagar, Ramol, Vatva, Amraiwadi, Nikol and Vastral.
Will I get a government certificate?
You get the Team SK trade certificate and the employer-signed assessment sheet. Our syllabus is mapped to the relevant NSQF level, and where a batch runs under a scheme with third-party certification, you also receive that certificate — but that depends on the batch, and the counsellor will tell you plainly which applies to yours. The wireman licence is a separate thing altogether, issued by the Gujarat Electrical Inspectorate; we prepare you for it and help with the application.
Can girls join the electrical and warehouse courses?
Yes, and they do. Women are a regular part of our electrical and retail batches and a growing part of warehouse. Separate washrooms and a women's rest area exist at all three centres. Where an employer's site is not set up for women on a particular shift, we say so at counselling instead of finding out at the interview.
Somebody offered to get me a job at a plant for Rs. 5,000. Should I pay?
No. Nobody at Team SK, and nobody acting on our behalf, will ever ask you for money for a placement, or take a cut of your salary. Our fees are the course fees on this page and they are paid at the centre against a printed receipt.
